A "Vanilla-like" QoL & Adventure Modpack

Welcome to the Kaydel 3.0 Community Server Modpack! With over 180 mods, it offers wide range of performance, aesthetics, and gameplay improvements while trying to maintain the essence of vanilla Minecraft.

Performance is at the heart of this multiplayer focused modpack, featuring optimization mods like Sodium, Lithium, and FerriteCore that ensure smooth framerates.

Visually, the modpack brings Minecraft to life with Iris Shader support for stunning lighting effects and new advanced particle effects adding depth and immersion. AmbientSounds and Sound Physics Remastered create rich environmental atmospheres that make every location feel genuinely alive.

Exploration receives a massive upgrade through the complete Dungeons and Taverns series, Towns & Towers and Explorify, which overhaul every major structure into epic adventures. Additionally, Tectonic reimagines world generation with dramatic terrain, making the Overworld much more realistic.

Quality of life improvements are the key to this modpack: fast travel with Waystones, massive improvements to inventory management, Simple Voice Chat implementation, schematic support provided by Litematica, massive GUI improvements and much much more.

To enhance the multiplayer experience, this modpack contains many essentials for players and server admins. Open Parties and Claims enables team building and land protection with an intuitive system, while LuckPerms provides robust permission management. The integration of Simple Voice Chat makes coordination seamless, whether you're building together or embarking on dungeon raids.

Installation

Please notice that I recommend using the Modrinth App with this Modpack.

To install and play the Modpack, download the newest Modpack Version on Modrinth or in the Modrinth App. If you don't use the Modrinth App, follow this guide to install the Modpack. Then, you need to check the assigned RAM for the Modpack Instance. I currently recommend to allocate at least 8 GB of RAM. Please refer to your launchers documentation on how to change the allocated RAM of an instance in your launcher. When finished, you are ready to go.

For Servers, I recommend you to download the server variant of each version. The server variant is a stripped down version of the modpack, made for better compatibility and performance with servers. NOTE: The server variant does not contain any Mod which is not already present in the normal variant.

Known Issues

(beta versions b0.3.1 and below) There is one known issue caused by Carry On: Players might get kicked out of their Singleplayer world or from a Server when they die. Kicked players just need to rejoin, their items and progress are safe.
