This resourcepack allows players to see clearly in caves or nighttime
💡 About this pack This pack gives you clear, bright visibility at night and in caves by tweaking Minecraft’s core lightmap shader instead of just cranking the gamma. It keeps some contrast and depth so the world still feels like Minecraft, just without the “I can’t see anything” problem.
Works in survival, creative, and on servers that allow client‑side resource packs.
No particles, no potion effects, no commands – just drop it in and enable it.
Uses core shaders, so it stays lightweight and doesn’t require external shader loaders.
🎮 Use cases Mining and caving without spamming torches everywhere.
Building at night while still seeing block shapes and colors clearly.
Exploring, raid prep, and general gameplay where you want better visibility but not a flat white fullbright.
⚙️ Compatibility Built for Minecraft 1.21.11 (and other 1.21.x versions using the same lightmap shader).
Compatible with most vanilla‑style resource packs (and vanilla itself) as long as this pack is placed above them in the resource pack list so its shader changes win.
May conflict with other packs or shaders that modify the same lightmap.fsh core shader (fullbright packs, night‑vision fixes, etc.).
Also works with Sodium as long as user has PolyTone installed.
