LiveTextureSwap is a client-side mod for Minecraft Java Edition that allows you to change item and armor textures and models in real time, without reloading the world, without F3+T, and without interrupting gameplay.

You can upload a texture or a full model while playing, apply it to an item or armor piece, and see the result directly in-game within seconds.

🎨 Texture Replacement Modes

When applying a texture, you can choose one of three modes:

🖼️ PNG Mode

Simple texture replacement using a PNG image. Perfect for quick reskins, custom icons, and fast visual changes.

🧱 JSON Mode

Replace an item with a full custom model, including:

• JSON model files
• PNG textures
• .properties files

This allows you to use fully custom 3D item models without restarting the game.

🛡️ ARM Mode

Replace textures of armor worn by the player. Changes are immediately visible:

• on the player model
• in third-person view
• in the world

🗂️ Texture Management

• View a list of all added textures and models
• Quickly switch between different variants
• Remove textures or revert to vanilla
• Organize textures by item

📦 Resource Pack Export

LiveTextureSwap can combine all added textures and models into a single resource pack:

• Export as a ready-to-use .zip
• Share it with friends
• Use it in other worlds or modpacks
