Aug 29, 2024TranslatorThis cape was awarded to select proofreaders—experienced translators with moderation permissions for their language—on the Minecraft translation project in Crowdin. Initially, these capes were distributed on 16 May 2012 through a fair dice roll to 29 contributors, with plans to issue more capes periodically. However, these plans were later cancelled by Jeb due to abusive behaviour from some translators, including the use of auto-translation and down-voting legitimate translations.
The cape was later reintroduced to recognise certain proofreaders for their significant contributions to the project.
