Overview
Ylvo's WorldShare is a Minecraft mod that lets you browse, download, and upload custom worlds directly from your game without ever opening a web browser.
Share your creative builds with friends, discover community-made worlds, and manage everything through an in-game interface.

How It Works
- Open the Map Browser — Use the in-game menu to launch the mod
- Browse Maps — Scroll through available worlds with previews
- Download — Click any map to download (saves to your worlds folder)
- Upload — Save a world, click Upload, and your build is live for others to download
Limitations & Timeline
⏱️ Testing Phase: This alpha will run for 5 days as we gather feedback and prepare for persistent storage
📦 File Size Limit: Each world upload is limited to 200MB to keep hosting costs manageable
🔄 Data Persistence: During alpha, maps may be lost if the backend restarts. We're working on migrating to persistent storage.
Known Issues (Alpha)
- Bottom buttons may clip on small screens: If your window is very narrow, the Close/Donate buttons at the bottom might overlap the map list. Resize or scroll as needed.
- Upload shows "failed" toast despite success: Sometimes the UI toast notification says "Upload failed" even though the upload completed successfully and the map appears in the browser. Check the map list to confirm.
Requirements
- Minecraft: 1.21.[1/11] with Fabric Loader (syntra connector works with 1.21.1)
- Java: 21 or higher
Installation
- Download the mod JAR from the Files section
- Drop it into your
modsfolder - Launch Minecraft with Fabric 1.21[.1/.11]
- Open Ylvo's WorldShare from the main menu
Alpha Status
This is an alpha release. Expect bugs, UI quirks, and potential data loss. Feedback is welcome!
