A mod of endless sheer stupidity
This is The Gungle Project.
Its just a mod that adds a biome, a new ore, two dimensions, a creature, and THE GUNGLELER.
Well the in-lore explaination is that its a strange outer-dimensional radioactive substance that has somehow leaked its way into your minecraft world.
The out-of-lore explaination is that I just made up a word whenever I first made the mod and that word just kinda stuck.
Oh yeah, I first made this mod like 8 months ago, and while those first batch of versions were never pubicly released, they will now be released with the publication of this state of the mod. Those old versions are labeled as "Betas" and these new versions are labeled as "Alphas".
I will now explain what the Beta versions and the Alpha versions are.
The Betas are the old versions of the mod that were made about 8 months ago of the writing of this description. They are rough, they are shoddy, they are extremely laggy in certain areas, there is an entire dimension that is an eye-sore (I'd recommend that if you are gonna play the Beta, scroll all the way down of this description to get a peek at that dimension, just so you know how to avoid it if it iritates you.) and since it had been so long since I last worked on The Gungle Project, I just decided to remake the entire thing.
The Alphas is the complete remake of those original Betas, specifically the last Beta (1.0.3 [The Alphas have a new numbering system starting with 0.1.0]). It changes quite a lot, adds a few things, and removes one thing. It aims to keep most of what the original Betas had, but actually make it more competent.
Well for one, there are no dependencies. The mod should work fine on its own. However, the Betas ONLY work for 1.21.4 and the Alphas ONLY work for 1.21.8(for now at least)
And while there are no dependencies for the mod to work correctly, I do recommend optimization mods like Sodium, or any other optimization mods, to help give a smoother performance, especially if you're gonna play the Betas.
This is as the title says. I'm just gonna walk you through the entirety of what this mod has to offer in detail.
The Gungle Biome is a pink-ish purple-ish biome. It has very tall trees of a unique wood type and harbors an exclusive ore.

In the Betas, The Gungle Biome is more of a dark purple with a teal-colored sky. It has slighty taller trees, but they are not a unique wood type, Nether Fortress spawn in it, and it does not have an exclusive ore. It is also extremely laggy since the trees use weeping vines, but sinces weeping vines can't be placed on the trees, the weeping vines all drop from the trees simultaneously. And I just never fixed that.

Gungle Wood and Gungle Leaves are what make up the trees of the Gungle Biome. Gungle Wood does not have a wood set to go along with it as these blocks were only made to give the Gungle Biome a bit more individuality.

Just a flower that's exclusive to the Gungle Biome.
In the Betas, the Gungle Flower had a different texture and was not exclusive to one biome.
Its just cranberry juice that acts like water. This was the one element from the Betas that was removed just simply due to the fact that I didn't want to remake it. It might come back, but there's also an equal chance that it won't.

The Gungle Gem is the main item of the mod. It is used to access a good majority of other things the mod has to offer. The Gungle Gem Ore is exclusive to the Gungle Biome and therefore is a bit tricky to find. It requires an iron pickaxe to harvest properly.

In the Betas, the Gungle Gem serves a similar role, the only real differences is that the Gungle Gem Ore is not exclusive to one biome.

The Gungle beast is the Gungle Biome exclusive mob. They are just goofy looking things that you can ride on top of.

In the Betas, they are not a unique model but instead a re-textured villager, and while you can still ride on top of them, you can't control their movements.

THE GUNGLELER is a villager profession that offers Gungle related trades. The block that gives a villager this profession is a Gungle Gem Block.

In the Betas, THE GUNGLELER is known as the Gungler, they offer different trades, and they have a different texture.

You make this by combining Obsidian and a Gungle Gem Block in a crafting table. It is used in to make the Gungle Verse Portal in the Alphas
This is the igniter for the Gungle Verse Portal. It is just an Emerald and a Gungle Gem put into a crafting table.
This is the igniter for the Gungle Verse Portal in the Betas. The igniter was changed because The Gungle Staff ended up looking incredibly dumb, but unlike Gungle Juice, the Gungle Staff and its cousin are likely coming back in a future version, just no longer as portal igniters.
The Gungle Verse is literally just the overworld but its all the Gungle Biome. You get there by making a standard portal using Gungle Obsidian and igniting it with a Gungle Gem and Emerald.

In the Betas, the Gungle Verse itself is just the same as it is now, but extremely laggy, as is the case with the Beta version of the Gungle Biome. However the portal is made with Gungle Gem Blocks and ignited with The Gungle Staff.

You obtain the Anti Gungle Gem by smelting a regular Gungle Gem in a furnace. The Anti Gungle Gem, as of now, isn't used for much.
In the Betas, strangely enough, the Anti Gungle Gem doesn't exist, its only the Anti Gungle Gem Block that exists. Its obtained the same way you obtain an Anti Gungle Gem in the Alphas, smelting a regular Gungle Gem Block in a furnace.
Similar to Gungle Obsidian, Anti Gungle Obsidian is made by combining an Anti Gungle Gem Block with Obsidian in a crafting table. It is used to make the Anti Gungle Verse Portal in the Alphas.
The Gunglerald is the igniter for the Anti Gungle Verse Portal. It is made by putting an Anti Gungle Gem, an Emerald, and a Gungle Gem in a smithing table.
This was the igniter for the Anti Gungle Verse Portal in the Betas. This was the cousin I was talking about when talking about The Gungle Staff.
The Anti Gungle Verse host an exclusive biome called The Anti Gungle Biome. Its a sickly pale greens and teals, foggy, very tall trees of not a unique wood type, and is very empty. Yeah, the Anti Gungle Verse, as of now, really only gives off a slighty menacing aura and thats it. You get there by making a standard portal with Anti Gungle Obsidian and igniting it with the Gunglerald.

In the Betas, The Anti Gungle Verse is similarly empty, but looks completely different. Its a lot more of reds and darker reds with short trees and a lava ocean. It is quite the eye-sore. You get there by making a portal out of Anti Gungle Gem Blocks and igniting it with the Anti Gungle Staff.
