A Minecraft 1.20.1 Forge mod which allows server owners or pack builders to limit where crops grow or mobs breed.
Territorial is a server-side configuration mod for Minecraft 1.20.1 Forge that gives server owners and modpack creators precise control over where crops can grow and animals can breed. Using a flexible rule-based system, you can restrict or allow these events based on biome types, temperature ranges, coordinate boundaries, dimensions, and specific crop or animal types.
The mod allows you to create realistic farming challenges, establish protected zones, implement regional specialization, or add geographical restrictions to gameplay. Rules are configured via TOML files with support for biome tags, namespace wildcards, temperature thresholds, and dimensional filters. Multiple rules can be layered with priority-based evaluation.
Features include in-game commands for configuration management (/territorial reload, /territorial rules), optional Dynmap integration for visualizing restricted areas, and an optional Farmer's Almanac item that players can use to check growing conditions at their location. By default, all events are allowed everywhere until rules are configured, making the mod fully opt-in.
