Smidgeon o' Bliss is a mod that plans to elaborate more on the links between mods by adding cross-mod foods! All the while adding new content of its own for you to explore and mess with.

This mod is a complete remake and remaster of the original Smidgeon o' Bliss, retaining some (and by some I mean barely any) of the content present in that original mod.

Now, instead of relying on JSON Things, it is fully coded in Java! Its premise though, has shifted slightly. Most food items that are implemented try to be as unique as possible, from foods that give you new potion effects to drinks that explode! There is no general theme for the foods items, it's kind of random but that's the point.

As I said, the focus has shifted to primarily content, and general mod compat will probably be moved into its own mod. Sorry for y'all who used the mod explicitly for the compatibility.

Features!

• Dripleaves! Obtained by cutting up small and big dripleaf plants, these bitter leaves provide and effect that make you stronger the lower your hunger is!
• Sculk foods! You can now chop up certain sculk items to get Sculk Tendrils. These wriggly things can be consumed to provide an effect that applies a stacking effect to an entity. And when that effect expires, expect a lot of damage.
• Prickly Pears! Searching through the desert, you may find a new crop growing in patches. These spiky plants function like sweet berries of the desert! You can harvest fully grown prickly pear cacti by using shears. Continuing to use shears on not fully grown cacti will yield Cactus Paddles, these can be eaten raw (which will prick you!) or can be used as a vegetable in most food recipes.
• Peanuts! These delectable legumes can be found in dry climates, particularly savannas and badlands. When roasted they can be properly consumed, giving you a new effect that increases your armor and armor toughness!
• Pitcher Roots! Harvested from fully-grown pitcher plants, these massive tubers can be eaten raw, taking slices from the whole root or cutting it into snackable sticks!
• Countertops! A simple addition to your block palette, these blocks are decorative forms of stoves and cabinets that looks nice for your kitchen or bar builds!
• Tons of new foods! Out of the box, this mod already has a lot of food items, but when paired with the mods listed below (not in Requirements, but Compatible Mods) you can have so much more! I'd recommend adding Atmospheric first if you want to test it with any mod; but, you are probably going to use all those mods listed down there anyways.
