About

SaintsAndSinners is an adaptation of the VR game "The Walking Dead: Saints and Sinners" into Minecraft. As such, its goal is to incorporate weapons and mechanics from the original game into Minecraft, along with adjusting some vanilla zombie mechanics to match the theme of the original game.

What does this mod add?

SaintsAndSinners introduces new entities called "survivors," which come in different classes:

- Beggars: These survivors beg for items. If you give them what they want, they will bless you.
- Robbers: Robbers take items. If you refuse to give them what they want, they will attack you. Whether you choose to fight back is up to you.

Tower and Reclaimed

In the original game, these two factions are enemies, with the Tower being a more organized government-like faction and the Reclaimed being cultists. These factions are also present in the mod. Tower and Reclaimed patrols will spawn near you periodically. If they are not occupied with fighting off walkers or rival patrols, they will engage you. Be cautious. These factions have outposts, which are difficult to infiltrate. However, if you manage to do so, you will be rewarded with a secure area to live in and possibly special weapons.

Weapons

The mod implements all the weapons from the original game, including:

- A LOT of knifes
- Samedi's hand
- Broken bottles and oher makeshift weapons
- Katanas
- Bats
- Cleavers
- Axes (some bigger some smaller)

Some of these weapons have special effects and can only be obtained by looting Tower or Reclaimed outposts. Searching for them is worthwhile.

In addition to melee weapons, the mod adds explosives and new types of arrows:

- Lure arrows
- Explosive arrows
- Sticky bombs
- Nail bombs
- Timed noise maker bombs

Recycling

Similar to the original game, you can craft a recycling bin to recycle items you find while exploring the world. You can't recycle everything, but when you have a lot of trash, recycling it is a good option. DO YOUR PART!

Overhauled Zombie Spawning

By default, this mod spawns additional zombies into your world. This means you'll encounter zombies during the day and many more in caves, especially at night. However, you can configure the spawning to your liking, deciding how many zombies spawn, when they spawn, or if they spawn at all.
