Reverie is a minecraft shader with a semi-realistic, dreamy style. It features a physically based atmosphere and advanced indirect lighting techniques.
A stand-out feature is the tessellated water. Unlike other shaders, which use a parallax effect to fake 3D water, Reverie uses real geometry!
Issue reporting
Reverie is currently in an alpha state and it has many missing features and bugs. To avoid repeated and unnecessary issue reports, I have made the codeberg repository private. Issue reports will be open when reverie enters the beta stage.
Requirements
- Iris 1.8 or higher.
- Minecraft 1.21+ (older versions might work)
Hardware compatibility
- Nvidia: works
- AMD (windows): works
- Intel (windows): unkown
- Mesa: works
- Mac: broken, and cannot be fixed
