iWannaShow is a lightweight, server-side only Fabric mod. It allows players to showcase their held items in the global chat, complete with a hoverable tooltip that reveals the item's properties, enchantments, and custom components.
🚀 Features
- Item Showcasing: Use the
/showcommand to share your current main-hand item with everyone on the server. - Rich Tooltips: Players can hover over the item name in chat to see full details, powered by the 1.21+ Data Component system.
- Stack Support: Automatically displays the quantity (e.g.,
64x Diamond) if the stack size is greater than 1. - Server-Side Only: Clients do not need to install this mod to see the items or the tooltips.
- Formatted Names: Prioritizes Tab List display names to support server-specific ranks, prefixes, and colors.
🛠 Usage
Simply hold an item in your main hand and type:
/show
Result:
[PlayerName] is holding [64x Diamond Sword]
(Hovering over [Diamond Sword] reveals its enchantments and stats)
💡 Pro-Tip
Since this is a server-side mod, it is perfect for Vanilla+ or SMP servers where you want to keep the client experience as "vanilla" as possible while adding modern social features.
