A small pack that re-textures gems (i.e. diamonds and emeralds) to appear shinier and "more gem-accurate."
While playing Minecraft, have you ever been concerned about how diamonds never looked edible enough? Have you longed for an emerald that looked like it could give you the same euphoric sensation as biting down into a delectable green apple fruit gusher?
If you said yes to any of those questions, that's a little bit concerning... You okay there, pal..?
...Oh, and also, this resource pack is the perfect thing for you! Probably.

This small pack modifies the item textures of diamonds and emeralds to make them look more like their respective gems while still maintaining the same color palette and general shape. (although, diamond's shape was slightly modified to be closer to actual pear cut diamonds. sorry, egg-mond fans.)
On top of that, their respective packed blocks were also given shiny new looks! Well, I think they're pretty, at least. Look, if you don't like 'em, just go into the pack and delete them yourself. I'm not your mom.
Diamond ore even gets its own unique look after being left out in 1.17! Isn't it adorable? I bet it's so happy about itself. I'm not. I'm neutral about these things.
Before you say anything, yes, I know. Amethyst is also its own gemstone. I might consider it for an update in the future, but its vanilla textures are just a lot better at looking like gems than the others, so I decided to just leave it out initially. (<-- an excuse to do less work)
