- Zombies building blocks [simulating building mechanics from zombie games]
- Zombies breaking blocks
- Zombies using fishing rods to hook players
- Zombies using fishing rods to steal items from players
- Zombies now actively seek and equip gear from nearby chests — automatically adjusting based on enchantment, durability, quality, etc.
- Zombies can see through obstacles (they can locate players even when hidden inside buildings)
- Zombies follow each other, often appearing in groups
- Zombies use Ender Pearls (they now throw them toward players to close the distance)
- Zombies now throw TNT — with a chance of instant explosion — and with improved accuracy
- Zombies can no longer be trapped by boats or minecarts
- Zombie spawning now replaces other mob spawns, configurable via settings
- Zombies jump repeatedly to reach players or leap toward them
- Burning behavior control for zombies
- Additional zombie loot drops added
- Blood Moon system added — during a Blood Moon, large hordes of zombies spawn and attack players. A warning appears in the morning before a Blood Moon occurs. The chance of a Blood Moon gradually increases with each survival day.

- Zombies automatically adjust their equipment based on the number of days passed, configurable
- Morning and evening announcements via screen titles and chat messages
- Zombies can now seek out and break specific nearby blocks
