Overview
Enter a world where every shadow whispers and each corner conceals a terror. 'THE DWELLERS' is a horror-themed Minecraft modpack designed to immerse you in a spine-chilling adventure. Encounter dreaded entities like the Cave Dweller, the Man from the Fog, and the notorious Herobrine, all enhanced by the eerie Insanity Shader. This pack isn't just about scares; it's a test of your sanity and courage.
Spine-Chilling Features
🌌 Mysterious Entities
- The NIGHTMARE: Lurks in the darkest depths, waiting to surprise the unwary.
- The Man from the Fog: A shadowy figure whose presence brings an unnerving chill, and lightning :)
- Herobrine (from the Fog): The legendary phantom, appearing when you least expect it.
😱 Insanity Shader
- Distorted Reality: Experience a visually warped world that challenges your perception.
- Dynamic Effects: Shaders change based on time and your actions, intensifying the horror.

- Sanity: Descent into Madness: Watch your sanity level; the lower it gets, the more terrifying your world becomes.
- Paranoia System: Unpredictable events that make you question what's real and what's not.

- Custom soundpacks: increase realism and immersion
- Ambient sounds: biome, time, weather, nearby block, and altitude based ambient sounds
- Sound Physics: Echos and reverb in caves and other closed spaces
- Proximity chat: Built-in proximity chat for multiplayer
- First person model: See your own body and make your hand movements look more realistic and natural
Installation Guide
- Install the modrinth app if you haven't already
- Either import the mrpack file into modrinth or just install this modpack from within the app's modpack search
System Requirements
- Operating System: Windows, macOS, Linux
- RAM: Minimum 6GB (16GB recommended for the best experience)
- GPU: DirectX 11 or OpenGL 4.5 compatible
- To run the shaders I recommend at least an RTX 3050 and a 13th gen i5, 12th or 11th gen i7, or 10th gen i9
