Deep Dark Wastes & Ender Ghast

The only biome in the Deeper Dark dimension. Here, you'll encounter the Ender Ghast, a small Ghast that cannot shoot fireballs. It teleports and flies when provoked by eye contact, then attacks in melee when close.

Bonus Fact: Ender Ghasts have a 10% chance to drop a Dragon Egg when defeated.

New Functional Blocks:

Wind Bearing

Inspired by the Create mod, this block gives a unique purpose to the Wind Charge item. When you stand on top of it, it emits a repeating wind charge sound to signal that you can jump. Activating it launches you about 14 blocks into the air, and it negates fall damage if you land on the same Y-level from where you started.

Honey Extractor

A new functional block found in the Beekeeper House. It serves as the profession block for the Beekeeper Villager, who uses it to unlock and trade honey-related items as they level up.

Can also be crafted using 4 Planks + 2 Honeycombs.

Place a Honeycomb and a Glass Bottle in this block to craft a Honey Bottle and Crystallized Honey.

New Overworld Ore:

Netherite Deepslate Ore

Generation: Spawns exclusively in the Deep Dark biome from Y=-45 and below.

Drops: When mined, it yields two distinct Netherite Shards.

Small Netherite Shards - can be combined into large ones.

Large Netherite Shards - can be combined into ancient debris.

Bonus Fact: Large Netherite Shards have a 10% chance to drop.

A throwable projectile that deals damage to entities.

Drops from Dirt and, rarely, from Grass Blocks.

When thrown from the main hand: launches 2 pebbles at a time and deals increased damage.

When thrown from the off hand: launches 1 pebble at a time and deals less damage.

New Utilities:

Wooden Shears

Crafted using 2 planks of any type.

Weaker than regular Shears but still effective for harvesting plants and leaves.

Ceramic Shears

Crafted using 2 Bricks.

Slightly weaker than regular Shears, but much more efficient for harvesting wool and leaves.

If you don’t want to waste your iron on shears, crafting multiple of these will get the job done perfectly!

New Tools And Armor:

Craft Emerald, Resin, Copper, and Amethyst Tools & Armor using Copper Ingots, Resin Bricks, Emerald Gemstones, and Amethyst Shards.

An Emerald Nugget can be crafted into an Emerald Gemstone.

Bonus Fact: Emerald Gemstones now drop from mining Emerald and Deepslate Emerald Ores, while Villager and Wandering Trader trades still use regular emeralds.

New Weapons:

Double Axes

Double Axes are powerful tiered tools and melee weapons designed to combine the utility of an axe with the strength of a heavier weapon.

Each Double Axe deals higher damage than its standard axe counterpart and has +0.5 mining efficiency, making it slightly more effective at harvesting blocks while still being primarily a weapon.

Spears

Spears are versatile melee weapons that scale their damage based on your movement, the target's speed, and momentum. They can be crafted by placing 2 sticks horizontally along with any tier material — from basic wood to the powerful Magic Obsidian.

Each tier has a unique cooldown: the higher the tier, the heavier the spear, and the stronger your strikes. Sprint, fall from a height, or glide with Elytra to unleash devastating critical hits capable of piercing even the toughest armor. ⚔️✨

Material Horns:

Can be crafted by combining any Goat Horn with 3 of its specific materials.

Each horn plays a different sound.

Copper Horn

Reintroduces the Copper Horn that was removed from Minecraft Bedrock Edition.

New functionality: when used underwater, it grants extra oxygen for 30 seconds before the air bubbles start to deplete.

Amethyst Horn

New Functionality: Removes Blindness effect

Redstone Horn

New Functionality: Removes Hunger effect.

Iron Horn

New Functionality: Resets the freezing animation when sinking in Powder Snow, helping you escape safely.

Quartz Horn

New Functionality: Grants the Fire Resistance effect for 3 seconds when used.

Golden Horn

When used in the main hand, grants Invisibility.

When used in the off-hand, cancels Invisibility.

Diamond Horn

Moobloom

The Moobloom is a new mob originally featured in Minecraft Earth. It was one of the candidates in the Minecraft Live 2020 mob vote, but ultimately lost to the Glow Squid.

Spawn: Found in the Flower Forest biome.

Breeding & Tempting: Can be tempted and bred using Buttercups and Wheat.

Moolip

The Moolip is a new mob originally introduced in Minecraft Earth. It is a pink variant of the Moobloom.

Spawn: Found in the Cherry Grove biome.

Breeding & Tempting: Can be tempted and bred using Pink Daisies and Wheat.

Muddy Pig

Originally from Minecraft Earth, this variant of the pig can rarely spawn in the Mangrove Swamp biome. Covered in mud, it’s just as friendly as regular pigs but has a unique look.

Bouldering Zombie

Originally from Minecraft Earth, this variant of the zombie can climb blocks to reach you. It’s faster than regular zombies, but deals the same amount of damage.

Bonus Fact: Since its climbing behavior is based on spiders, it can rarely spawn with a skeleton riding on it, just like a Spider Jockey. 🧟‍♂️🕷️

Papa Smurf

Who hides in the mushrooms? The Smurfs! Well… not all of them—just Papa Smurf.

He can rarely spawn in a Mushroom House located in the Dark Forest biome (if you’re lucky enough).

Drops: Some paper, books, and a Bottle o’ Enchanting. He might also drop some rare goodies you’ll enjoy 😉

Smurfette

Smurfette lives with Papa Smurf in the Mushroom House. She tends to a small garden nearby, filled with flowers, carrots, and two rabbits.

Drops: Flowers upon defeat. 🌸

Gargamel

Who hates Smurfs? None other than Gargamel, the Evil Wizard!

He can spawn inside a castle in the Pale Garden biome, always accompanied by his wicked cat. Gargamel hunts down Papa Smurf or Smurfette—and if you provoke him, he’ll even come after you.

Drops: Valuable loot… if you’re lucky enough. 🧙‍♂️✨

Crystallized Honey

Each Honeycomb can be crafted into 9 Crystallized Honey pieces. Eating them cures poison instantly and is twice as fast as eating regular foods (similar to Dried Kelp).

Honeyed Apple🍯

Crafted by surrounding an Apple with Crystallized Honey. Eating it cures Poison, Slowness, and Weakness effects, making it especially useful against Witches!

Green Apple🍏

Can be obtained rarely as a drop from Oak or Dark Oak leaves.

Restores the same Hunger and Saturation as a regular apple when eaten.

Can be used to craft Golden Apples, just like regular apples.

Honeyed Green Apple🍏🍯

Can be crafted by surrounding a Green Apple with 8 Crystallized Honey in a Crafting Table.

Note: Like the regular Honeyed Apple, eating a Honeyed Green Apple removes Poison, Weakness, and Slowness effects.

Pear🍐

A rare fruit that can occasionally be found when breaking Birch Leaves.

Restores slightly less Hunger than an apple, but provides greater Saturation when eaten.

Can also be crafted into a Golden Pear, which grants the same powerful effects as a Golden Apple.

A Golden Pear can also be crafted into an Enchanted Golden Pear.

Golden Beetroot

Can be crafted using 8 Gold Nuggets and 1 Beetroot.

When eaten, grants Speed, Saturation, and Invisibility, making it very useful for sneaky situations or quick escapes.

Cherries

Cherries are a new fruit that can occasionally drop from Cherry Leaves. They can be eaten, smelted into Jam, or crafted into Golden Cherries, which grant you Speed, Haste, and Saturation for a short burst — perfect for quick escapes or fast mining in caves. Cherries can also be composted, and even Piglins are tempted by the shiny Golden Cherries!

Cooked Chicken Nugget

A Cooked Chicken can be crafted into 9 Cooked Chicken Nuggets, which can be eaten quickly.

Nuggets can also be crafted back into a Cooked Chicken if you change your mind.

Cooked Tropical Fish

Tropical Fish can now be cooked to create Cooked Tropical Fish.
