Adds a dark theme to inventory and other tools while in use.
DarkGUI is a sleek Minecraft resource pack that transforms the game's user interface into a modern, dark-themed experience, perfect for late-night gaming sessions or servers with a shadowy aesthetic.
Key Features It overhauls all GUI elements like inventories, crafting tables, furnaces, and menus with deep blacks, subtle grays, and sharp contrasts for better readability in low-light environments. Edges are refined for a crisp, contemporary look without sacrificing vanilla functionality, and it supports popular mods like Fabric for seamless integration. Performance stays optimal since it only tweaks UI textures—no block or entity changes.
Installation Steps Locate your Minecraft directory: Press Win+R, type %APPDATA%.minecraft, and hit Enter (Windows); or go to ~/Library/Application Support/minecraft (macOS); or ~/.minecraft (Linux).
Open the resourcepacks folder—if it doesn't exist, create it.
Download the DarkGUI .zip file from your GitHub repo or hosting site (do not unzip it).
Drag the .zip file into the resourcepacks folder.
Launch Minecraft Java Edition (1.20+ recommended).
Go to Options > Resource Packs.
Click "Open Pack Folder" to verify it's there, then select DarkGUI in the list and click the arrow to move it to the "Selected" column on the right.
Click "Done"—the pack activates immediately for new worlds or reload with F3+T.
Usage Tips Activate it on your Fabric modded servers by prioritizing it above other packs in the list. Pair with shaders via Iris/OptiFine for enhanced contrast; test in a creative world first to tweak order if conflicts arise. Reload textures anytime with F3+T without restarting.
