Advanced Cauldron enhances cauldrons with potion storage, brewing over campfires, dyed water with color mixing (Bedrock parity), and tipped arrows.
_ Advanced Cauldron brings depth to Minecraft's cauldron system, turning it into a versatile tool for potion brewing, water dyeing, and arrow crafting — all without a brewing stand._
Potion Cauldrons
Pour potions directly into empty cauldrons to store them. Each cauldron holds up to 3 levels and preserves the potion type. Extract potions with glass bottles or tip arrows in bulk.
Cauldron Brewing
Place a water cauldron over a heat source (campfire, lava, magma, fire) and toss in a brewing ingredient. The cauldron will bubble and brew automatically, complete with colored particle effects. No blaze powder needed.
Dyed Water Cauldrons
Add any dye to a water cauldron to create colored water — just like Bedrock Edition. Mix multiple dyes to blend colors, then dip leather armor to dye it. Supports all 16 dye colors with full RGB color mixing.
Arrow Tipping
Right-click a potion cauldron with arrows to tip them in bulk. Each cauldron level tips up to 16 arrows by default (configurable), making it far more efficient than the crafting table recipe. Supports modded arrow types
through a data-driven tag system.
Heat Mechanics
Cauldrons over heat sources produce steam particles and suppress campfire smoke for a clean look. Entities standing in hot cauldrons take configurable heat damage over time.
Fully Configurable
Every feature can be tweaked through Cloth Config (Mod Menu supported): brew time, heat damage, particle effects, arrows per level, and more. All settings are stored in config/advancedcauldron.json.
Requires Fabric API. Cloth Config and Mod Menu are optional but recommended for in-game configuration. Must be installed on both client and server.
