This cape was awarded to MrMessiah as a token of gratitude for creating the BetterLight mod, which contributed to some of Minecraft’s lighting and grass features. Although the cape was discussed in 2011, it was not granted until 2015. The designer of the cape is not definitively known, but MrMessiah believes it was designed by Jeb.
