Its just villagers with eyepatches, but here are a few notes about it anyway

It does work from 1.21.8 to 1.21.11 and most likely in future versions as well less be the villager texture gets changed again.

In relation with "1." using this resource pack on any version besides 1.21.8 will warn you that the pack is made for an older version of minecraft and won't work properly. Rest assure that I have tested it and know for a fact that it does work on newer versions.

If you activate the pack when creating a world but don't see any villagers with eyepatches, simply pause the game, go to options, then to resource packs, and activate it from there, and that should solve the problem.
