No Gaps in Yo Items

• No Gaps In Yo Items is a client-side Fabric mod for Minecraft 1.21.8 focused on fixing visible gaps/lines on generated 2D item models.

This project was built for cases where Model Gap Fix does not solve the gaps in the 2D items

What it does

• Reduces/repairs rendering gaps on 2D generated item models.
• Applies targeted UV/model-generation adjustments to improve edge stability.
• Prioritizes practical in-game results across normal play and multiplayer usage.

Why this mod exists

Some systems still show item-model gaps even after using existing fixes. This mod is intended as a fallback solution for those cases.

Technical scope

• Loader: Fabric
• Minecraft: 1.21.8(if requested enough on github, i will make it for other versions)
• Side: Client-only

• - LumyNova handled real in-game testing, reported the problematic cases (resource packs, specific items, server behavior, visual differences), and set the priorities.

• Codex AI implemented and iterated the mod code (mixins, item model quad generation tweaks, UV tuning), with fast build/fix cycles based on real-time feedback.

Please report any bugs you may find along your gameplay it will help the development a lot! minor bugs such as 3 small gaps still showing in certain texture packs with different sword textures wont be fixed to prevent other things from possibly breaking

Note: trident having a thing behind its right teeth model is normal. i have no idea on how to fix that and mostly since its so small you wont notice. gaps kind of flickering the top part white a bit when eating is also normal. i cant think of an idea that fixes those both issues

this mod is compatible with ALL packs, ive tried packs that make the sword model either smaller or bigger and it was just fine. no glitches no bugs. same with other items
