About

MC-56533-FIX is a lightweight client-side mod that restores the expected behavior of the F1 (Hide HUD) key by fixing the vanilla issue tracked as MC-56533.

When enabled, the mod ensures that pressing F1 correctly hides UI overlays that should disappear with the HUD — including player name tags / scoreboard-related overlays that may remain visible due to the bug. The fix is designed to be minimal, safe, and compatible with other mods: it does not change gameplay mechanics, does not add new content, and only targets the rendering/HUD visibility logic affected by MC-56533.
